Paani Foundation is a non-profit founded by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, with a mission of making Maharashtra drought free through mobilizing, training and motivating people to lead this fight.
What began as a project to design a brand book for this noble cause has now become a constant association with the organization for a variety of their graphic requirements.

A coffee table book which is an overview of the organization’s story, achievements and projects.
We at Chromatick were ecstatic to design the backdrop of the stage for the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup, 2019, an annual event that celebrates the success of a 45 day competition in which thousands of villages in Maharashtra compete to do the best and maximum work for soil and water conservation.
Since the entire philosophy of the organization is a “people’s movement”, we designed the stage to truly celebrate its people.
We designed a logo for their upcoming competition “Samruddha Gaon Spardha”.
The concept is to use the shape of the water drop in the Paani foundation logo to denote a leaf. This leaf symbolises the prosperity of the entire community.
Paani Foundation is also involved with education and empowerment of children in the villages of Maharashtra and throughout urban cities of India. We helped design a 2D video in Marathi that explains the evolution of earth and one in english for the urban audience.
While designing the Marathi video, we had to understand and keep in mind the level of exposure and understanding of these children and hence keep the entire video less stylized and more realistic.
During the COVID-19 situation, Paani foundation was also working towards education for children in the cities. We designed several illustrations for one of their course presentations.
